Solver’s Commitment to Dynamics GP: Now and for the Next Decade
By: Michael Applegate Published: November 5, 2026 Last Updated: November 6, 2026

When Microsoft moved Dynamics GP to its Modern Lifecycle Policy, many organizations asked the same practical question: what happens to the tools surrounding GP as Microsoft’s investment slows? Our answer is straightforward. By joining Knights of GP, Njevity’s preferred-ISV program, we are formally committing to support Dynamics GP customers for at least the next 10 years.
What Is Knights of GP, and Why Does It Matter?
Knights of GP is a recognition program created by Njevity, the team behind PowerGP Online. It identifies solution providers that publicly commit to supporting their Dynamics GP integrations for 10 years or more. For GP customers, that provides a clear way to see which vendors intend to remain invested as Microsoft’s GP support cycle winds down. Organizations running GP should know which of their tools will still be supported in 2036.
Why Our Commitment Doesn’t Depend on Microsoft’s Roadmap
Solver connects to Dynamics GP at the data layer, not through the front end. Customers can use our Hybrid Connector for live reporting directly from GP or route data through Solver Gateway into Solver’s cloud-based reporting and planning platform. Neither approach depends on the GP user interface or on continued front-end development from Microsoft. As long as the GP database is running, Solver can connect to it. That architecture is why our product and engineering teams were comfortable making this commitment: our ability to support GP has never depended on Microsoft continuing to develop the front end.
Why We’re Proud to Join Knights of GP
Standing alongside other ISVs making the same 10-year commitment gives GP customers a clear answer to a question they are already asking. It also reflects a principle we have followed for years: technology should support how customers run their businesses, rather than force change simply because a newer interface exists. Joining Knights of GP puts that commitment on the record.
How We’re Supporting GP Customers for the Next Decade
Solver is a Microsoft Dynamics GP Certified application for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and dashboarding. That certification is not changing. GP customers can continue to:
- Build GL and sub-ledger reports and dashboards for GP using our Excel add-in Report Designer
- Automate budgeting and forecasting with dynamic, driver-based models instead of static spreadsheets
Access GP data alongside other key sources in a single data warehouse, so GP customers aren’t limited to what’s in one system
Deploy pre-built Template Marketplace reports and planning forms built specifically for GP, so teams aren’t starting from a blank page
None of these capabilities requires a change to the GP front end. That is why we can make a 10-year commitment with confidence.
What GP Customers Are Telling Us
GP customers consistently tell us that native tools such as Management Reporter and SmartList meet their needs until reporting and budgeting requirements become more complex. At that point, replacing GP can be unnecessary when the real need is stronger planning and analysis rather than a different ERP. A dedicated reporting and planning layer allows customers to keep GP operating as it does today while providing accurate, current information to the people who need it.
What’s Next for GP on Solver
Our roadmap for GP continues to move forward. We are extending Solver Copilot’s Analysis Agent to help GP customers identify trends and anomalies in their data without first building a report. GP customers receive the same level of product investment as customers using any other ERP we support.
“Solver commits to supporting Dynamics GP customers for 10+ years post end-of-life. Our SQL connector architecture means uninterrupted xFP&A reporting, planning, and analytics for GP users.”
Get the Badge, Get the Facts
You will see the Knights of GP badge on this page and on our Microsoft Dynamics GP integration page, with a direct link to Knights of GP. If you are running GP today and want to understand how a dedicated reporting and planning layer works on top of it, the integration page is the best place to start.
