0:08 The biggest challenge that Solver helps our organization with is being able to bring all of our leaders together and put the ownership of budgeting and financial reporting on those individuals to be able to make their own decisions and then enter in their own data. To bring all of our financial information together in one place and then allow us to slice and dice and get all the information that we need and plan for the future of our organization.

0:44 As for the favorite functionality of Solver, you'll get a different answer depending on who you ask in our organization. If you ask any one of our department leaders, they would probably say the ability to go in and get time-sensitive data themselves and not need reliance on the finance team.

1:02 If you were to ask any of our analysts, they would probably say ad hoc reporting because they can just go in and grab whatever information they need and mix and match it in whatever way to get down to the root of whatever information they're looking for.

1:17 Me personally, my favorite feature is the ability to go into Data Explorer, look at your data specifically, and have the ability to delete, export, and do things like that.

1:33 My other favorite feature is Publisher. I love having the ability to schedule jobs. So if I'm out, I can still schedule in advance that reports can be sent via email to folks across the organization, which saves a ton of time from having to publish those manually yourself.

2:09 The biggest benefits of partnering with Solver and utilizing Solver products is the ability for Solver to customize and accommodate your organization's complexities.

2:17 We have a very complex way of managing budgeting for our personnel, and we get a lot of support from Solver to make that process pretty seamless.

2:37 We also have a very complex general ledger string with 12 segments, and Solver has been able to accommodate that and really help us to best utilize our data in day-to-day planning and financial reporting.

2:59 I've been at my organization for four years, and during that time I have seen Solver help our organization do a variety of things.

3:08 Most recently, we started a forecasting process within Solver. Historically, we had just done modeling and calculations in Excel outside of Solver, and we now are utilizing the benefits of Solver to load that information into Solver and have it available for reporting and analysis.

3:26 It has made the forecasting process far easier and much more manageable for our organization, and it allows us to act on our feet a lot more quickly, efficiently, and helps give us better information as an organization for business decisions.

3:55 Our organization uses Solver across the entire organization. All different department leaders are set up with access specifically just for their segments of the organization, and they all have access to go in and pull reports and utilize those reports for understanding how to code purchases.

4:18 All of our organization leaders go in and do their own budgeting in Solver on an annual basis.

4:28 We retrain them every year on how to use it, and the enhancements that have come in over the years make it a really easy process for our organization.

4:35 That makes the idea of budgeting for non-financial folks much more digestible and easy for them.

4:43 So it's really been a real game changer for us in the budgeting process to leave that ownership within the different departments in our organization, as opposed to having all of that burden be on the finance team.
