Solver Opens Northern Europe Data Center in Ireland
LOS ANGELES, CA. — October 29, 2018 — Solver, the global leader in cloud and web-based Corporate Performance Management (CPM) for mid-market ERP systems, today announced the launch of the North Europe BI360 Cloud service, based out of its new data center located in Ireland. This data center serves Solver’s numerous European partners and customers as it aligns with new European Union guidelines created under GDPR as well as provides additional security for data held in Europe. With the opening of the data center and launch of the cloud service, Solver considers this a milestone in its growing global presence and commitment to offering the optimal experience and security to all BI360 users.
Solver’s North Europe BI360 Cloud service is a part of Microsoft Azure’s multi-tenant global data center network. This additional data center further capitalizes on the cloud platform’s overall growth and Solver’s dedication to delivering its leading CPM software to its EU partners and customers. With the flexibility and security web-based applications allow, Solver envisions that this data center will encourage both potential and even current BI360 users to use the cloud.
According to Solver’s Chief Technical Officer, Mike Applegate, “Just 15 months after the first US launch of BI360 cloud, this new data center is the result of the rapid growth of BI360 Cloud.” He adds, “With the majority of new customers requesting BI360 Cloud, we expect to see strong growth into the fourth quarter.”
Solver partner Gavin Duffy of Storm Technology says, “Over the past number of years, we have seen a significant uptake in cloud services as organisations across Ireland strive to improve operational efficiency and streamline IT costs. Solver’s opening of an Irish data centre re-enforces their commitment to the Irish marketplace.” He continues, “The move allows Storm Technology to deliver the full benefits of the BI360 cloud offering with a local service, ensuring full compliance with even the most sensitive data processing requirements.”
Additionally, Solver Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) manager Mattias Brunk says, “The launch of the North Europe BI360 Cloud service is very well timed with the BI360 cloud demand we have seen in EMEA the past year. This enables an EU-based cloud with full support for GDPR and other local laws and regulations.” He continues, “The list of customers interested in moving to the cloud is long and Solver can now start the implementations and accelerate the sales process.”
Solver’s Northern Europe data center simultaneously addresses its growing international user base and number of cloud users. The move to open a physical space internationally marks an important step in Solver’s journey to make BI360 the definitive leading CPM solution.
