As a first time attendee to Convergence, I couldn’t be more excited to attend Microsoft’s 2015 conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The Microsoft community will descend on this southern mecca March 16-19 for an incredible experience of networking, learning, and discovery.  This year, Solver returns to the main event as a Gold Sponsor, and there’s so much to look forward to at #Conv15.

Solver will be bringing the team down to Atlanta to connect with Microsoft partners and customers by showcasing and demonstrating version 4.5 of the BI360 Suite, including Excel, web-based, and mobile financial reporting, planning, dashboard, and data warehouse solutions. And that’s not all we’re excited about – check out what else you need to know about this year’s event:

Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella will be delivering the opening keynote.  As a leader and public figure in the technology world, Nadella was named the CEO in February 2014.  His career has been impressive to say the least, and his speech will kick off Convergence 2015 on Monday, March 16th, setting the tone for learning and connecting with customers, partners, and leaders in the business world.

Lots of opportunities for learning.  Between general sessions, concurrent sessions, and interactive discussions, there will be several chances to have front row seats to cutting edge lessons on new technologies and industry trends, new ways to accelerate your own business, and maximizing your use of Microsoft software.

Networking is the name of the game.  Convergence offers rich opportunities to meet and connect with people in your industry, tackling the same or similar responsibilities for their company, and/or using the same programs and applications as you are on a daily basis.  Meals, receptions, and even the community outreach program, which tackles homelessness, hunger, at-risk youth and neighborhood revitalization in Atlanta, are all designed with networking and community building in mind.

The Expo!  Beyond the assortment of helpful classes, you can meet hundreds of partners and learn about your options in the technology sector.  From up-close and hands-on demonstrations and conversations about services and software to free technical support from Microsoft, you are not going to want to miss out on all of the learning and networking opportunities at the Expo.  Solver will be at Booth 1116 – and looking forward to meeting everyone.

Evening activities.  From the Convergence Experience Reception to OneRepublic, the conference is going to be all work and then some play.  Did we mention how excited we are to see OneRepublic? Home to CNN and Coca-Cola, Atlanta is such a cool American city to host Convergence 2015.  And if I’m being honest, I’ve been excitedly reading Anya Ciecierski’s Guide to Downtown Atlanta Restaurants that she put together just for Convergence attendees – plenty of options to network over some delicious, diverse cuisine.

Booth 1116.

I don’t want to be cliché, but Booth 1116 is where the party will be.  For stopping by Booth 1116, Solver is offering a special 15% discount on all of BI360 solutions (with the exception of existing discounts or SaaS pricing), valid until Friday, June 26, 2015.  To qualify, leave your business card at Booth 1116 or get scanned.

Stop by our booth for a chance to win the latest in wearable technology! The Microsoft Band offers guided workouts, heart rate and sleep tracking, as well as email, calendar, text message, and social media notifications, all while hands free.  Solver will select 2 entries at random and announce the winners following Microsoft Convergence 2015!

You can meet the Solver team and get high-tech, high-touch demonstrations of BI360’s financial reporting, budgeting, dashboard, and data warehouse solutions.  Solver is excited to present the valuable hybridity and flexibility of Excel, web, and mobile platforms of the industry’s leading suite of Business Intelligence tools to accelerate and streamline your data management and analysis processes.

Additionally, from what I’ve heard and read, most Microsoft Dynamics users come back to Convergence every year for the sessions.  Attendees get to better understand features and functionalities, learn best practices, and go back to your office more efficient and perhaps, even an expert with your software.
You won’t want to miss Solver’s sponsor session, designed so you can acquire valuable insights on the BI360 Suite of Business Intelligence tools.
