LOS ANGELES, California, January 23, 2015 – Solver, Inc., the global leader in Business Intelligence for mid-market ERP systems, today announced the launch of BI360 version 4.5. This new version of Solver’s BI360 is a major product release and upgrade that delivers web-based budgeting, as well as enhancements to financial reporting, data warehouse and other modules.

BI360 Web-Based Budgeting

This software update introduces web-based budgeting to the BI360 Suite, where power users can design input forms in Excel with the BI360 report designer and then deploy it to the budget end users through the BI360 Web Portal. A special feature of this new module is the option to save budget data directly from the web input forms and into the budget tables in certain target ERP systems. This new module also offers web-based data entry, customizable automatic storage rules, comparative data analysis with historical data, line item details support for the BI360 Data Warehouse, and a web-based data manager for viewing of company information.

New Product Enhancements and Features

Solver also added a number of enhancements to existing modules in version 4.5, which include system-wide “global values” that can be shared amongst all reports and support for external third party document management systems. Additionally, in the Data Warehouse, version 4.5 has an added admin login for upgraded administrative functionality and improved experiences while building and maintaining Data Warehouse trees.
